Care & Maintenance Instructions For Sensor Bins
1. Since there are batteries and other spare parts inside the sensor bin, please keep children under three years old from accessing internal components;
2. Avoid mixing old batteries with new ones when replacing them to prevent affecting the normal use and lifespan of the product;
3. Use quality batteries from reputable brands to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the product;
4. As sensor bins contain electronic components, use them in dry environments and keep the lid protected from rain or water immersion. If water accidentally enters, remove the batteries and allow the lid to dry under ventilation or sunlight before attempting to use it again;
5. Ensure correct installation of the battery, paying attention to the anode (positive) and cathode (negative) markings. Improper installation can prevent the product from functioning. High-performance alkaline batteries can last 6 to 9 months (based on 20 openings/closings per day). Replace batteries promptly when reaction time slows or when the battery symbol flashes on the control panel.
6. Place the sensor bin on a flat surface to prevent external forces from interfering with the lid’s ability to open and close during daily use;
7. Replace or remove the batteries if they are exhausted or if the sensor bin hasn’t been used for an extended period to prevent battery leakage, which could damage product components;
8. Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local waste sorting regulations to contribute to environmental protection;
9. Keep sensor bins away from heat sources to prevent battery explosions under abnormal conditions;
10. Do not immerse the sensor bin lid in water for cleaning;
11. Avoid shaking the lid violently back and forth to prevent damage to the internal gear structure, which could affect the product’s functionality and lifespan;
12. Regularly clean and maintain the operation panel to prevent dust buildup, which may cause misoperation such as unnecessary openings;
13. Regularly clean and maintain the operation panel to ensure that gears are not clogged by trash, as this could result in a stuck lid;
14. Avoid placing objects within 0.5 meters above the sensor area to prevent accidental activation of the lid.
Care and Maintenance Instructions For Pedal bins
1. The stainless steel body of the bin is fingerprint-proof and can be cleaned using a soft cloth that is damp and then dried;
2. To prolong the life of the bin, avoid stamping on the pedal with excessive force;
3. To prolong the life of the bin, do not forcibly lift the lid while it is opening;
4. Place the bin on a flat surface to prevent it from swaying side to side when stepping on the pedal;
5. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth or alcohol to maintain its bright sheen. Never clean the surface with corrosive acid-base solutions;
6. Keep the product away from hot stoves or direct sunlight to avoid deformation or aging;
7. For stains that are difficult to remove, wipe them with a dry cotton cloth using mild liquid detergent, colorless glass cleaner, or polishing liquid that does not damage the product. Do not rinse it with water;
8. The plastic liner can be rinsed in water. After rinsing, place the step bin in a cool, ventilated area to let the liner dry. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight to prevent shortening the product’s lifespan.
